A good metal

Brass and Copper are metals I love to use. Not only can you still find good sources for Made in the USA solid brass zippers, buckles and rivets and burs but is a metal that gets a beautiful patina over the years. You might see a limited edition Stainless steel one of these days but for now Brass and Copper all day.
